How I Manage My Blogs?
Suzette, who has 3 blogs including Lazy Bone and To Lah or Not to Lah, exchange links with me and wrote a post linking all my blogs. Thanks Suzette!
She asked how I managed all my 6 blogs? Well, so I’m going to share my not-so-professional way of Shoppingmum’s way of blog management here.
Actually, there are many bloggers out there who have multiple blogs, and I’m only one of them. I have by personaly blog, Shopping Mum, which I reserve for all my rants, daily life, and paid posts. My Filling Station is more about food, travel, shopping and fitness, however, I post more about food as I like to eat!
Shoppingmum and Kids is a blog I dedicated to my kids. I want to remind myself and to let them know how they were when they were younger. This is the blog which I hate to mess up with paid posts, unless the topics fit well. Most of the expired topics will be removed when I have the time to do so. That’s why I created Shoppingmum’s Home Office, which I meant for making money from blogging. But I can’t just bombard it with paid posts only, right? So, I got to share where I earn my income from blogging on this blog too, even though it’s not too much yet.
Everyone who knows me personally know that I’m a breastfeeding fanatic. That’s why I created My Mothering Corner to write about my breastfeeding journey and motherhood moments. I try not to write too much facts on the blog as it’s easy to search related info from various parenting sites. I only write my own experience there, as a journal.
The latest blog I have is All About Beauty. I’m not just a “try to do all my best” mother and blogger, I’m very vain too. I take care of my look seriously, and before my kids come along, I’m one of those regulars to beauty saloons. LOL! But that was the past. Nonetheless, I like to have a blog for beauty and for women only who think the same like me. We may be mothers, but we need to be pretty hot moms too. Don’t you agree?
So, how I manage my blogs? I have to sacrifise my beauty sleep to post at night or during my kids’ afternoon nap. If I feel like I’m exhausted of blogging, then I’ll take a break from it but will be back with more inspirations and topics to blog about. Some times, I surf around to find more ideas for my blogs. However, I don’t have a rigid schedule that I need to update all of them on a fixed time. If there is something to write, then I will post. If not, I will just leave that particular blogs for a while.
So, it’s all about “brain power”, and time management. But there is one blog which I have never been out of topic to post, it’s my kids blog. My kids never stop to inspire me.

Thanks for explaining the ‘segmentation’ of your blogs. For once, I was confused which one to look at, when I want to find out stuff about Justin…
Keep up the good work! So, can you now be considered WAHM?
