Filtering from Sponsored Reviews
I don’t write much from Sponsored Reviews as sometimes, I put the wrong bid. I have always forgotten to set my price and press the bid button. Thus, most of the offers I got are underpaid, so I would rather let them be cancelled. For those that I bid with good prices are ignored or rejected though, so Sponsored Review is still a struggle to me.
Now, they started a few feature where advertisers can filter the blogs as according to categories. It will work almost the same as Payperpost now, and even if it’s claimed that filtering is great for bloggers, that also mean that you have less chances of bidding if you are not qualified in the first place.
Anyway, I don’t get much offers from them, so the new feature doesn’t hurt much. ![]()

Hi Shoppingmum,
We are working hard at increasing the number of opportunities available to bloggers.
Filtering is a feature that many advertisers were looking for. This feature will please advertisers which will in turn create more opps in the future.
This changes nothing for the blogger except for save them time bidding on opportunities that they will never get approved for, which was one of the biggest complaints we got from bloggers.

Shoppingmum,
Just wanted to let you know that I had our programmers make a slight change to the bid screen. We used to pre-populate the bid amount field with the lowest amount the advertiser would accept. Now we leave it blank.
This will force bloggers to put an amount in, otherwise it will error out. This will fix the problem you are having with forgetting to change the bid amount.
Hope that helps.
Thank you for your continued support!

Jarrod, thanks for the clarification. I hope to get more offers from Sponsored Reviews in the future after the new features are added.

Hi SM, I also get alot of rejected bids but it’s ok lah - sometimes this bidding can be fun. Only thing is there aren’t enough advertisers and worse, some expect you to bid for $5 - 200 words and after commission, what’s left?
JARROD: perhaps there should be a minimum amount guidelines set for advertisers. It doesn’t make sense to bid for $5 when we have PR 3 or 4 and after comm, a measly $3.25. Just my feedback. But overall, this is a great platform for bloggers

Doris, good point! There was one who only paid $11 for PR 4, I asked him to fly kite. LOL!
Samm, what to do? They don’t favourite us yet. Not yet!!! LOL! Let’s hope to get more from them.
