One of hubby’s friend owns an electrical shop which has been operated for more than 20 years. He told us that business was getting harder because there are more and more chair electrical stores in Ipoh, and they can give a better offer and installment plan as comparing to his shop. Thus, he was wondering if he should continue his father’s business, or venture into something else.

In my opinion, if he really want to continue his business, maybe he can start selling some appliances online, just like Krillion who has a wide collections of appliances such as KitchenAid Refrigerators, ovens, ranges, washers and dryers, and dishwashers. They are doing so well in SEO and has always appeared top on search results for national brands that are sold by national and regional retailers.

Thus, online business in electrical appliance is possible, but maybe it is a bit hardly initially as the majority of Malaysians are still not used to shopping online yet.
