I got a few offers from Sponsored Reviews this month, after I know how to bid the price of my blogs. Previously, I would bid to the max, but now, I will look at the number of words required, the number of links, the contents and I will consider if it’s worth lowering my price to fix in the bid. So far so good, I managed to get some offers from doing so, but I do hope that I could get a few higher paid offers from the advertisers!

But then, something puzzles me about the approval of the posts. I didn’t receive any email stating if my reviews are approved or not, but I will have to log in and check it, what I see is all the reviews were completed. That’s it. But now, Sponsored Reviews is going to start a new rating system to better control the quality of the reviews submitted. Read about it here:

7/20/2007    New “Quality Rating System” for Bloggers Coming Soon

In an effort to continually deliver quality reviews to our advertisers we will be implementing a new rating system to allow advertisers to give feedback on completed reviews.

This system will allow advertisers to mark their favorite bloggers as well as give feedback on reviews they dislike.

Here are some of the reasons advertisers may give for disliking a review:

  • Poor Grammar or Spelling
  • Did Not follow Requirements (Word Count, links, etc..)
  • Showing a Price Higher on Site then what was Bid
  • - This one will be used mostly by admins to mark bloggers who are showing lower prices on their blogs then what they are bidding in SponsoredReviews.

  • Over-Priced based on Quality of post
  • Duplicated Content
  • Made Non-Factual Statements

To be fair to bloggers admins will be making sure that complaints are valid.

Ratings will be displayed to all advertisers and will used to help all advertisers decide which bloggers to use. In the beginning we will be utilizing the rating system by admins only, we will then move it out to the advertisers.

We are pleased with the quality of most reviews, but as with any system there are bad apples. We want to clear out these bad apples in order to please our advertisers and generate more purchases for bloggers writing higher quality reviews and bidding a fair and justifiable price.

This system will be launched very soon.

So, hopefully my rating is good so that I will still be able to get more offers.
