It’s end of the month, and it’s time for me to do my banking again. I told hubby just now that we need to go to the bank tomorrow as I have to withdraw a few thousands for my credit card bills. Yes, I use a lot of my cards! But I’m paying a big sum of money too.

This thing with my current bank is I’m only allow to take as much as 5k per month. If I exceed this amount, there are some bank charges issued every time I withdraw the money from the same account within the same month. Thus, I prefer to take out 5k the most and stop withdrawing money from it.

Frankly, I don’t think we can reclaim bank charges, or can we? So far, I haven’t heard of anyone getting the charges back! So, to be safe, I stop withdrawing after that maximum amount and there is an advantage of it. The lesser I get the money out, the more chances of me saving it up. Thus, I’m not complaining.

Anyway, I don’t have current accounts. I still prefer to use only cards and cash, but no checks please. For anything exceeding the maximum amount of the cards, let hubby pay for it! LOL!
