I have 3 sub domains but only one is monetized with paid posts. Frankly, not all companies accept sub domains. If you have a xxx.com and you started a sub domain as xxx.com/blog, most of the time, the paid post networks will only accept either one when you submit your blog as review. Thus, if you have plans to get involved in blogging for money, don’t start a sub domain.

This is the recent message from Sponsored Reviews:

Hello Bloggers, this is a quick update to our policies. Having more then one blog on a domain is not permitted. For example, if you have a domain called www.mydomain.com which has a blog located at www.mydomain.com/blog, you cannot have another blog in our system located at www.mydomain.com/blog2.

If you currently have domains like these please make them private or ask us to remove them.

If you have sub domains in your Sponsored Reviews account, don’t panic first. This means that you can either bid for your xxx.com, or xxx.com/blog for one offer. So, you may not have to remove the sub domain first.

If I am not mistaken, only Payperpost is taking in sub domain at the moment. If you are trying to summit your sub domain to other networks by now, most probably it will be rejected.

So, don’t waste time on sub domain. Get more domains. Unless you don’t have plan to monetize them, then it’s ok to continue blogging on sub.
