I am not an investor. Previously, I bought some shares and sold them off when the price was good. That’s the only investment knowledge I have and I have never been bothered to learn more about it.

But for seriously investors like my FIL, he will collect the share options data, the indexes, the opening and closing of the day and etc for his reference. Doing this manually is a lot of work. I have forgotten to tell him about the options trading software which is able to sort, filter, and analyze a lot of share options in his portfolio. That will save him a lot of time and work on the analysis.

I better let him know about this software when he is back again.
