If you have own domains, you better get them renewed if you would like to save up on the pricing. This is what I found from TechCrunch.

Verisign, the domain name registry that controls the .com domain (as well as .net and others), just notified its registrars (the companies that actually sell domain names to end users) that the wholesale price of .com domains will be raised 7%, from $6/year to $6.42/year.

My webhost gave me a link to the news yesterday, but I lost it. Anyway, I already got all my domains renewed so that I can save up some money on the domain names. I’m paying a lot for the virtual server on monthly basis, and if my domain names are pulling lots of money away, there goes my shopping spree for Christmas!

If you would like to save up, get them renewed now.
