I met a girl from the spa center I used to go and talked with her for a while. She was only in high school and she’s thinking about quiting and working because her school has severe discipline issues and she hated the peer influence. Too bad she cannot transfer to another school yet because things like this need mo*ney, ok? Especially if you are referring to popular Chinese schools.

But without a high school cert, I don’t think it’s easy for anyone to get into private college or get a course. Then she can forget about getting a degree and looking for graduation announcements later because without an SPM, it’s very hard to do anything. Unless she has O or A level, then maybe there is still hope.

Talking about this, do you think a degree is necessary? I have one, but look at me, I’m not using it! LOL! So it’s depending on individual. If you are thinking about working, I think it’s one of the requirements. But if you are just willing to try your luck and be your own boss, then a piece of certification is not really needed.
