Fiction or Factual?
I came across a post which the blogger said that we tend to write only the great things in our lives, but not the dark side of it, especially if we have some personal friends reading our blogs. She does have a point there. Most of us will not want others to know too much about ourselves, so there is a degree on how much we should be exposing.
I have a blog for my kids, so for the time being, everything is real. But the time will come when I will stop updating about them to protect their privacy. But then, I wonder what should I go with that blog?
At the same time, I found a few blogs with are partly fiction. It’s not easy to write a fiction blog if you are not a good writer! I don’t think I can manage a fiction blog, it’s not that easy to be in a fantasy world. How to imagine myself as a drug addict going through treatment in drug rehabilitation or I’m a college kid ranting about her s*x life? (Yes, there is a blog like this…)
Even if I can’t exposing everything or leaving in fantasy, but I have built myself an image in blogging. Don’t tell me you don’t know that I’m a shopaholic, ok?
