When I was working in my previous job, the headquarter always had a lot of discrepancies when it came to its IT support. We were supposed to order and communicate through an indoor online system, but it’s not working as everyone had expected it to be. In the end, we were back to relying on telephones and forget about that IT solution which was supposed to ease our workload and enhance better communication.

I have no idea why must they hire some new and inexperienced programmers in the first place but not outsourcing to another IT company. Maybe the management were trying to cut down their operating cost? But they were losing out in the end as the system failed and needed to be upgraded again.

If you are looking for IT solutions in your company, iCorps Technologies might be able to provide the Boston IT Consulting you are looking for. Since it’s based in Boston, I don’t think my ex-company will be able to use its service but to look for other resources. However, any companies in and around the Boston and New York City might benefit from their services, if they are looking for networking integration, business application development, website design or IT support.

I guess if the company do not have the manpower in IT field, outsourcing is still a better option. Just don’t end up in a disaster like my previous company and had to get their system mended again some time later.
