If you one of the bloggers who got slapped by Google with a PR0, you will know how hard it is to get a paid review. Worse still, if you are staying in Asia like me, we have already been segmented out by most of the offers of one of the famous networks.

I found this from the homepage of Blogitive:

As some of you may have noticed we experienced an unplanned outage this morning. It took us a little while to get the problem solved, but we did trace the route of the problem. There are some extra-greedy Blogitive users who have purchased bots to constantly scan Blogitive for new offers. We had so many of these bots hitting our servers every millisecond that it started to resemble a denial of service attack. So we have banned those bloggers and put measures in place to prevent this in the future. Any bloggers using a bot will be permanently banned. This will ensure both the stability of the system, and that all bloggers have equal opportunities for blog offers.

See how desperate some bloggers are? No wonder the site was so unstable previously. On top of that, Sponsored Reviews has given their warning too:

We Permanently Suspend bloggers who do not follow our rules. Soon, advertisers will have the ability to ban/report bloggers who aren’t following the rules. When that happens it will be very easy for us to track down, and suspend, guilty bloggers.

So, what’s the advice here? Let’s just play the game fair and square if you are still interested in writing paid reviews. If not, just appeal for reconsideration and forget about everything. If my blogs are not getting anything, a little green bar above the window is more than enough for me.
