I was checking out the results of Malaysian’s 12th general election a while ago, but now I can’t seem to refresh the page for the latest update. I went downstairs to catch the updates on TV, but it’s quite disappointing as one of the national channels was showing the results much slower than what I saw online earlier. Sometimes I really doubt about those talks and efforts in bringing our country towards cyber world because they can’t seem to do it fast enough.

Nonetheless, I have to admit that some government offices have improved a lot in terms of service quality and speed. I used to visit a few offices to get things done when I was running the learning centers, and when you are really busy, you just can’t be waiting patiently. It is awkward if the service cannot speed when 90% of the processes are computerized right? Besides that, it’s not hard to find any outsourcing companies like iCorps that provide Boston IT Services. There are lots of local companies that provides similar services too if you search for them online.

But back to the election results, maybe the newspaper website needs some help from IT companies as well. How can it be down right now when most of us are craving for the latest updates?
