My partners have tried their best in looking for potential buyers for our learning center, but they still can’t find anyone. I guess they will just end the business next month even without a new buyer. I’m glad that the business ends before I relocate as I don’t see any future in it anymore. I was keen to start a learning center many years ago and I wanted to try what it felt like to run my own business. We put in a lots of effort in it initially, but once the business expanded to a few centers, we kind of lost track of it.

Furthermore, none of us are devoted to education field. I used to teach but I realized that I don’t have passion in teaching. I was just teaching for the business but not for the interests of the kids. Thus, I quit teaching and concentrated on something else. On top of that, we were caught up with getting married and having kids. I know that most women can juggle their families and careers well, but I can’t. I emphasize more on my kids over anything else.

Even if my partners insist on continuing the business, I think they need to work harder besides consulting a Marketing Company. They need to rebuild the brand name again as education biz is very competitive. If your center is popular, parents will just send it their kids without asking much. But if it’s just an average center, you need to put in more effort in marketing and advertising.

Judging from how I know my partners, I don’t think any of us has the initiative of running it anymore.
