Hubby and I have a few days of packing up before flying over to Bangkok and settle some issues regarding our visas and work permit. If you are interested to get a work permit in Thailand, check out the link. Of course, we are far from being a permanent residence in Thailand, but if things work well, that’s the direction we are going to. It’s too early to say anything about PR now, and we are not migrating, as most of my friends are asking. The main purpose we are there are strictly business but the kids are coming along so that w don’t miss out our family lives.

Besides that, Bangkok is such as nice place to live in, especially to someone like me who likes Thai food. But I must say it’s not easy to learn the language. Not all Thais can speak in English too, so I will have to pick up the language faster than I thought. How can I communicate with the teak outdoor furniture and electrical appliances promoters if I can’t speak Thai to them? I have tonnes of things to shop for the house next week, so I better know more than just sawadeeka for this trip.

Relocating is stressful, but I think the real stress comes when we start our business model later.
