Air Pollution
My friends said that the air in Bangkok is more polluted and thus I should take a better care of myself. However, I think the air pollution is only bad if the traffic is busy and congested, but when the road is not busy, it seems alright to me. Most of the cars and trucks are quite new and I hardly see old junks being used on the roads. Maybe I live near the city where the standard of living is better so most people can afford to buy nice cars there.
If the vehicles are too old, it’s best to send them to midwest auto recycling instead of using them to pollute the air. Even our own country might not have such tight control over the age of vehicles here, so I guess we can’t compare much.
I didn’t fall sick throughout my stay in Bangkok, but once I arrived home, I had fever. However, I don’t think it has anything to do with the air. It’s fatigue and traveling that weakened me now.
