I haven’t worked with hubby before, even if he has been running his own business for the past few years. We talked about me helping him but I was just too busy with kids previously and his work involves a lot of traveling. We just couldn’t click on together as business partners.

However, our days changed once we moved here. I’m following him to his office and I have my own table too. My work is not well defined yet, but once my kids are going to preschool, I will have a better idea on how to deal with the job. Hubby is still dealing with all the issues and customers, and he can understand Thai better than I do. I need to work on my Thai as soon as I’m free from my mothering job at the office.

Some people think that husband and wife working together will strain a relationship, but I have seen a lot of successful couples who work well as partners and still be able to take good care of their kids and maintaining their relationship. That’s something we will work on now.
