Money Saving
I don’t have a bank account here but sooner or later, we will have to open an account for our money. I think I better keep some money in the bank instead of spending it off on shopping trips!
I haven’t tried online Savings Account before, but it seems like WaMu will be one of the options if you are looking for online savings. This bank offers free electronic statements as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $300 everyday, but if you failed to do so, they will charge a service amount of $4 from your account. You can also sign up for overdraft transfer service if you are looking for transaction flexibility, but I don’t think I need an overdraft option. I will only take this option if it’s a company’s account as we might need more cash flow flexibility. Besides that, WaMu offers easy access funds by ATM, so you can easily do so from certain banks to your online account. Just find out more about this if you are concerned about how to transfer the funds later.
Before I can start saving up my money at the local bank or an online saving account , I need to have a steady stream of income first. Hopefully, hubby is very generous when it comes to my monthly salary!
