Worker Left
One of SIL’s workers had just left the company this morning. He had some discipline issues, and despite the numbers of warning received, he refused to change his working attitude and chose to leave the workforce. I think he’s not making a good decision here. With this economy recession, he might not be able to find a good job so soon and how is he going to support his family financially?
For us, we don’t have any loss as we can easily get someone to replace him. We just need to hire someone who can send the goods around, do some banking, and collect the checks from customers. It’s pretty easy to find someone for this job, as long as he has a driving license and knows the way in the city.
It’s not like we lost someone who’s irreplaceable like our salesmen or IT personnel. It takes time to train them so we highly value their effort in working together with us. It’s quite costly to hire a new york it consulting firm to manage the operations now, so we are relying on our employees.
Anyway, I hope that the worker who left can find a job soon. It’s impossible for him to return to his position now, unless he has turned into a new leaf.
