I hardly call my parents anymore. It’s not about the phone bill, but my parents always like to hang up on me as soon as possible before I can even have a nice talk to them! They are worrying about me paying for oversea calls and even if I told them it’s not too costly, they still don’t believe me. There are lots of phone companies that offer long distance call plans such as Spectrotel to help the users to save more on long distance calls. Getting in touch is not as hard as before anymore, if you get the right phone plan.

Maybe I should find a good plan for them back home so that they can use it to call me as well. They hardly call me unless it’s something urgent, which hardly happens! But I still hope that we can talk more often. Anyway, we will be back next month, so there are lots of catching up to do.
