It’s the long weekend here in Thailand, and most of us are in festive mood of celebrating the King’s birthday. I was hoping to hear a speech from The Majesty, but unfortunately, The King was slightly ill and could not deliver his speech. I was hoping to hear about his opinion about the recent political turmoils in Bangkok, and I hope that he will send some sense to His people not to do anything stupid moves to hurt the country anymore.

Anyway, there was no speech, and Thailand’s economy is doom. Some predicted that it’s going to be -3% growth next year, so it’s much worse than predicted previously. I’m sure that a lot of people will lose their jobs soon, and the Collection Agency might have to work harder to collect debts from those people who can’t afford to pay their debts anymore. The situation is worrying, and we have to work on some business strategy soon to work this out.

I’m not hoping for profit, but at least the month revenue can sustain our basic operational cost first. For the time being, it’s just barely marginal, and we are still “surviving” on savings. We can’t do this forever and we need to get positive income soon. I’m not sure what is the correct move for next year’s negative growth, but we shall treat it as a challenge. Wish me luck.
