Business was pretty slow last month, probably due to Christmas and New Year celebrations. That’s why we took the week off and had a family vacation. Furthermore, we have 5 long days of public holidays, and most companies in Thailand are not operating. How could we work when no one else is working?

But this week, our company is operating as usual. I’m not sure if we will get a better sales this month, but we have to try harder. I’ll probably set up another merchant account if our sales from internet is getting better. Besides that, most of our clients found us online, and if they do not need us to demonstrate our products, they can just order and proceed to payment online. Thus, setting up a merchant account might help to improve our sales.

At the same time, I’m working on the company website again to include some new products and suppliers. Since the market is getting slower than ever, it’s time to diversify our products to penetrate other fields, instead of concentrating on automation industry. If we are really going into online selling, I will probably have to edit the website again. But we haven’t finalized about this yet, let’s see how business go in a month or two.

I sure hope that our business can grow better this year, even if the global economy is not showing any sign of improvement. Worse still, Thailand politic is not helping its country image and economy as well! But like they said, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
