We have been trying to renew our visas here in Bangkok, but after making numerous trips to Thai Immigration Bureau and Embassy of Malaysia, we still can’t get things done. Frankly, we are running out of time, but we still have to make another trip to the immigration tomorrow. This time, we have to get out from the house earlier so that we don’t have to queue for more than 5 hours to get our papers checked and submitted!

The officers are not polite at all, or should I say, they are very RUDE when they are checking the papers. I think they should service with a smile, it’s immigration office of Thailand, for god’s sake. We are in the land of smiles but what I saw there was a land of horrible officers and long waiting queue.

Oh ya, don’t believe anyone who says they can help you out and extend your visa. Just do it the proper way to avoid getting conned ya?Besides the long queue, they should improve the air conditioning too. This place is like hot oven and it’s quite hot because they don’t turn on all the air con units. Forget about air purifier because I don’t think there is any.

You can only use ONE lady’s toilet, which is located on the first floor, and they don’t let you use ones at the ground floor nor the other units on the first floor. So, make sure your bladder is empty before you start your queue. LOL!

But still, there are some nice officers as I’ve seen a few there before. But then, I hope that everyone’s working there can be nice to foreigners like us, who’s running businesses here.
