Seven Things To Add on Your Cart For Your DIY Party At Home

Are you planning a DIY party at your home? Do you want to invest more on things that you can use in the future in planning parties for your kids? I am sure we mothers know the excitement of planning ahead the birthdays and other celebrations in the family. Whether it is a birthday, a house warming, baptism, wedding anniversary celebration, graduation, Christmas, holidays, or just usual BBQ dinner with friends and family relatives, it is important to ready the things you need.

We listed down some of the things you need to invest on when you want to have parties at home or in your backyard.

  1. Tables

Have tables! 3-6 tables perhaps is alright. You can buy at furniture shops or let you husband do the woodoworking so you can design your own table the way you want it. You can have carvings (initials or other decorations) plus you also get to save money.

  1. Adirondack chairs

Yes! Of course chairs are a must. Tables must go with nice chairs for your attendees to sit on. Make sure it is comfortable. Adirondack chairs are best for BBQ parties and even garden themed parties.

  1. Drapes

invest on different colors of drapes for different occasion. Stack them up in a plastic bag or a sturdy container when not in use so it will not get old easily.

  1. Boxes

Always have boxes in your house, cardboard ones, so you can have something to use as decoration. They can be use for designing the table, for games, and even for souvenirs. You can also create a DIY photo booth in your place.

  1. Camera

Invest in a nice camera and tripod where you can set-up so every attendee can take their own photo their without hiring an event photographer. All they need to do is to set up the camera in 15 seconds so they can have their own souvenir photos in the event. You can also make DIY decorations like hats, mustache, letters, and more as their props. Also make nice tarpaulins or other background for the attendees.

  1. Baking Materials

Want to save more on desserts? unleash you inner baker and bake cakes, cookies, brownies and other desserts! You can also have cupcakes and design it with the initials or letters. You can use this as giveaways too. Learn basic techniques in baking for kids through different YouTube tutorials you can always check out. Remember to unleash your inner creativity.

I am sure your attendees will be impressed with your table wares and plates when you showcase them in your parties. Better to have minimal designs on your wares so it can fit to just about any theme of parties. Avoid using colors which are neon colored. Keep it simple and minimal so it will be pleasing to the eyes.
