Tow Service

I wonder if we need a good breakdown service for our cars? Who knows? We might need a good tow car if our cars have ever broken down in the middle of nowhere. Ever since my car refused to be started a couple of weeks ago, I’ve started to have this phobia.

If hubby is around then I don’t have to worry much. But since I’m on my own most of the time, I must think of an emergency plan. With my language barrier, it would be hard to explain where I am!

So should I get one?

Once in a while, I will fantasize that our biz will grow well next year and we can afford at least one luxury car. I would hope to get a bigger SUV, and might also sell my existing MPV away if possible.

But the dream won’t come true unless I work hard on it. Even if I might be able to find cheap auto insurance rates and quotes, but I still need to weigh out the cost of having a car at my company’s expense. I won’t get one if I need to fork out the money personally!

Everything should be paid by my company, even if the cheap auto insurance is truly affordable. It’s how the business world works. No point checking out rates and quotes and pay on your own.

So, before anything can happen, I have to work twice as hard first!

Renew Insurance

I should spend some time checking out these auto insurance reviews because my car insurance is expiring soon. Time really flies fast!

I wonder if we will change the car after another year of installment? I surely hope that hubby agrees to buy me my dream car. LOL! But then, it costs a bomb here, and I’m not sure if we have that budget!

So, in conclusion, work harder and make more money!

Car’s not working

The car can’t be started, and I was so pissed this morning, I hate to have my schedule interrupted, and hubby is too busy today as well. I need to pick the kids, so the car is very important to me.

Hubby must have called BIL and he sent someone over to check. So may this handsome young man in working boots help my to get the car started please!!!

Actually, I have some plans today, but I guess all will have to be postponed until the car is working well. Sigh…

2 Years Old Car

Time flies and my car is going to be 2 years old soon.I can’t believe that we are almost here for 2 years. Time passes by really fast, and it was like yesterday when we first moved to the land of smiles.

I’m the one who uses this car mostly, but I don’t really like it. It’s not my first choice of Toyota, but during the time when we made our purchase, most of the other models were out of stock and we didn’t want to wait. It’s not so much about the car insurance, or installment plan since these will be covered by our company, so I was hoping to get a better model.

But then again, I better don’t spend so much on cars due to the depletion. It’s not worth it. It’s time to renew the car insurance and road tax, and we have another year of installment to go. Then, this car is free from loan!

Maybe by then we can change to another model. Hopefully the car price is not too expensive, as well as the auto insurance and road tax.

Dents on my car!

My car got hit within the first week we got it, and that accident was “unavoidable” as it’s not my mistake. I stopped the car on an emergency break, but the truck behind me could not stop in time and banged into my car! It was not a bad hit though, but we got to get it fixed and our car insurance covered everything.

Last week, my hubby hit our car, not once but twice! So, it’s very much dented in front and at the size, but we haven’t got the car fix yet. I wonder if our auto insurance can cover the damage this time? I’ve been urging hubby to call the insurance company, but he’s not making any move yet!!!

I hate to drive a “not-so-nice” car, I wish that hubby can get it fixed soon. But considering that he will be away for a week, I will have to wait way longer than I thought!

Car Installment

I suddenly remembered that we haven’t paid our car installment. Even if it’s not overdue, but it’s a holiday on Monday, so we have to pay it latest by Tuesday. Unfortunately, we might be a bit busy that day with some appointments, I wonder if I can make a trip to the bank on my own. I wonder if I can just do an online transfer?

Frankly, this is our first personal car as all our previous cars were company registered and we had clerks to do the payment for us. I had never been bothered about installment or auto insurance. My brother would handle my auto insurance and so did another insurance agent of ours.

Maybe I should just find out if we can renew our insurance online annually? That will be more convenient to us. If you are interested in getting an auto insurance online, check out this link.

Car Not Fixed

My car is not being fixed yet, and I will be back to Bangkok soon. I hate to see the dented part even if it’s not going to affect the car’s performance. It will take more than 2 weeks to fix it, and furthermore, the service center has yet to inform us when can we send in the car. Gosh, it’s so troublesome! If the car is here, I will just send it to any reliable mechanic and get it fix ASAP. I will think about how to get the insurance claims later. But over there, we have lots of communication problem and we can’t trust any mechanic except the ones from the service center. So, I will have to be more patience.

Frankly, we didn’t do any auto insurance comparisons because we won’t know anything much about this in Bangkok. I think everything is covered by the insurance, even if the car is driven by a 3rd party. I’m glad that we have SIL there who can be our translator and read all those papers for us. If not, I really can’t imagine how complicated things can be in Bangkok.

But most importantly, we have to learn Thai fast. I can only understand simple Thai, so it’s a long way to go for me.

All the while I have never thought of buying a car by myself. I am very thrifty when it comes to financial commitment that involves a lot of money. Nonetheless, I don’t mind helping hubby out if he wants to do some comparisons of Honda Car Prices. Out of the many Honda Cars, I only like CRV and the Odyssey. I prefer bigger cars that provide larger space and storage.

If you are thinking about buying a Honda, you can take a look at CarsBlvd.com which is a car comparison site where you can get Honda Car Quotes based on the year of build, the model as well as your zip code. You can then decide where to get the car from after comparing the prices by 2 different quotes. Of course, this service is only available in US, but not here in Malaysia.

I would try to get the quotes if I were you! Don’t tell me you are not interested to save up some bucks.
