After installing the widgets for a few days, I am asking myself this question again. All the while, this blog doesn’t have a lot of traffic and as long as I’m trying my best in maintain the 50/50 rule of paid posts and organic posts, I don’t care much about the traffic. It’s only after the 10k from Payperpost that I began to notice a slight rise in my traffic.

I thought BlogRush will make a miracle but too bad it doesn’t. I don’t have any click on this blog, that’s why I’m thinking of how effective it is in bring traffic to me. I don’t care what those blog gurus have to say about how good this widget is (or did they say it’s useless too? ), all I care about is if it’s working for mine.

OK, after 7 days before I make up my mind on that widget.

Firstly, I won’t say that my blogs are great but at least I produce some contents.

I did come across lots of sides with only links and ads, which are mainly built for Adsense or whatever purpose they are. What pissed me sometimes is I saw the links to my posts there. @#$%$#$@

But anyway, most of us join BlogRush to see our traffic skyrocket to the max, but frankly, I didn’t see that yet. However, I’m glad that they are doing something about it. If not, I won’t be adding anymore blogs into my account, and may even remove the widget so that my blogs look “prettier”. I try to keep my sidebars as neat as possible. All those unnecessary widgets and links will be out.

There have also been concerns about the QUALITY of blogs in the BlogRush network. Some poor quality blogs (I wouldn’t even call them blogs.. more like pages of junk and ads) have been added to BlogRush and it’s creating a problem.

What We’re Doing About These Issues

1. We’re moving to a MANUAL REVIEW process. No more automation. We will be reviewing ALL blogs submitted to BlogRush. If the quality of the blog is poor, they will not be allowed to participate. We’re going to start reviewing ALL the blogs that are currently in our network and will be disabling the accounts for poor quality blogs.

2. We’re continuing to add security measures to our system and we will be mass-removing any and all cheaters that we discover. We will not rest until the cheaters are WIPED OUT and kept from abusing our network. The manual review process will help eliminate most of them as legitimate bloggers that have put in the time to create a decent blog aren’t the types that are going to be abusing the system.

All of these changes will only benefit our users — it wil increase their click-through rates and drive more traffic to their blogs. It will also make sure that the blogs their widget links to are only quality blogs.

Well, I should have blogged about BlogRush earlier but I was too occupied. I signed up days ago but didn’t add for all my blogs yet. I hope to do this one by one as I’m still learning about this and I would like to see how much traffic it will bring. Frankly, I’m still “struggling” with the data on my dashboard. LOL! But once I get over all my pending offers, I will look into BlogRush again.

If you have doubts about it, and you are wondering if you should sign up with BlogRush, check out this article by Andy Beard. He did a good job of clearing my misconception too.
