Being a working mom without a helper, I’m always on the go to run errands, picking up kids, buying grocery, and spending some time at the office as well. But I must say, it would be nice to have mobile computer workstations at those common places which I go frequently.

Currently, I’m relying a lot of my iPhone. Without it, my life won’t be complete. LOL!

Crampy Office

I wish that we can make more profit so that I can get us a bigger office lot, and hire more staffs. A few staff is coming in on Monday and my sales has to move into my office. Oh boy, talk about privacy!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, I cannot do anything I like in my room anymore, can’t even curse with Motorola Atrix nor let my kids do anything they want in the room. But what can I say? I have no right in this office building.

Miniportables

I feel like getting one of those miniportables for my kids, one which they can surf the net, play some online games and watch DVDs. The iPad can do the DVD part, even if I can get some movies for them, but it will be more convenient if there is a CD player.

They are getting bored after a couple of hours at my office, so if they can watch some movies, that will help a lot. Let’s see if daddy agrees.

No superwoman

I hardly get anything for the office and would rather leave this job to the staffs. I trust her in getting discount office supplies instead of wasting my company expenses or am I just too lazy?

I can’t do everything on my own, so delegation is a must. I am not trying to be a super working woman. I need help, and I admit that.

For the first year in Thailand, I had lunch with hubby mostly, so lunch hour was our couple time. Now that he’s away in another company, I hardly see him at all.

Besides that, my lunch has become boring, unless I eat out by myself at fancy places. After eating alone for some time, I ditched the idea and would just eat in in my room. I order the same food almost everyday, how boring huh?

Slow WiFi

Something is so slow with the wireless connection in my office. The browser is so slow, I can just doze off for a nap waiting for the page to reload. In my work, I spend a lot of time on the internet, especially checking the email. Of course, I spend some time doing nonsense on Facebook and chats too.

Maybe I should think about getting myself an air card. But is it necessary? I should be browsing at office’s expenses!

Work Permit

I’ve just got my work permit last week, and I was so thrilled to have the little blue book. The first thing I did was to get myself a saving account here. Without it, the money is flowing out like water faster than I can grab it.

I’m not sure if I can save up a lot this year, but still, it’s always nice to start something small and see it grows gradually.

I shall renew my visa tomorrow. I hope that everything goes well.

Eat and Travel

I hardly go out with my sales, but some times, it’s needed. Certain customers prefer English speaking suppliers, or someone with higher ranking position on product presentation, so in that case, I will go along. Since the distance between one place to another is quite far away, I sort of like sitting in the car most of the time until our destination.

If I’m on the road in a full stomach, I might be drowsy too. LOL! Seriously need some hgh if I travel after lunch often. Eat and sit for long hours doesn’t sound like a good thing to me.

Playgroup at office

There are 4 kids at my office now, and they are turning the place into a playground. No, I’m not joking! Amidst of the working adults, there are kids running around, chasing each other, screaming and shouting and messing up the place. There’s the thing about small and medium company, especially if family related. We are more flexible with our kids coming to the work place, but of course, we need to control their active plays so that they won’t be too much of a disturbance.

Seriously, it can be quite distracting and annoying some times when the kids are out of control. I won’t need the best fat burners if I work in such stressful environment for the whole year. Juggling both kids and work at the same location is not as easy as it is seen.

Facebooking

I spend a lot of time on Facebook, but of course, it’s just one of the many tabs in my browser and I don’t check it out mostly. It’s just there, so that I can peep on some updates whenever I can.

In fact, everyone in my office has Facebook but I try not to add everyone. There is always something you won’t want your subordinates or staffs to know too much about you. I would rather want my staffs to spend more time on their work and make me more profit to buy gold coin, instead of spending their working hour on social networking.
