I know that it takes 5 – 7 days if you cash out from PayPal to your credit cards, but if the money is not needed urgently, I am still using the transaction for the time being. I can easily cash out with my usual way, but since I have a PowerVantage account at HSBC, I’m making full use of it.

You just have to withdraw the money from Paypal to your credit cards, then if you have online banking, you can easily check if the balance has been successfully transferred a few days later. After, just give the card center a call and they will help you to transfer to money to your account. Don’t use the credit card to cash out because it will be treated as cash advance.

I’m happy to see that account piling up more for the past one month. The amount I’m making is lesser, but as long as there is still some money, I should be grateful about it.

I had a series of charges for most of the money being sent to me. A charges of 3.9%+30 cents is significant if you see all the money coming in being deducted in such a way. It’s only applicable to Premium account for most of the networks I’m working with now, so I think it’s best to change my PayPal back to Personal account, even if the features might be limited.

But if you constantly receiving payments from credit cards, it’s still best to stick to Premium account. You can only have a maximum of 5 transaction in such a way for Personal account. Besides that, if you are thinking of switching back to Personal account, you can only do this once. Just call PayPal in Singapore to get this done. It’s just a phone call away.

I did a withdrawal of $35.00 from Paypal and had it transfered to my HBSC Visa on 11st October 2007. I was waiting for the bank draft as Samm stated that she received hers. But after waiting for so long, I didn’t get mine and I can’t see the money going in from my online account too.

I called up just now but it’s confirmed that I have the amount transfered into my HSBC credit card. Actually, I did 2 transaction but I thought there was only one. The reason why I can’t see the transaction online is that there is an update in their system and by next week, everything should be fine. So it’s easily to track from the online account. BTW, I use that card for my term life insurance which is auto debited into the card on monthly basis. Since there is a transaction in the card, I don’t think I will see the bank draft, unless my balance is zero. But the good news is, it’s more convenient to pay for the insurance from Paypal now. No need to pay cash or cheque already!

Let’s see if the rate is 3.3 once I get the statement next week.

Here’s the list of location where you can find Al Rajhi banks and if you are from KL, you shouldn’t have problem getting one.

So, the only way I’m doing now is transferring my money to HSBC, and I’m still waiting for it. Other than that, I will use the money in Paypal to pay for my credit cards if they charge me 5% of cash withdrawal. Gee….that means I might be spending more since the money is trapped inside.

I have just transfered some money to be cash out. Frankly, I don’t like to keep too much in Paypal. I try to check at least once a week to get the grand total of my earnings, then I will cash out. What’s the purpose of staying in there? There is not interest given anyway.

Unless I have some investments plan like investing in gold coins or share options, then I might transfer the money to VMI. But I don’t have enough to invest in gold or anything yet, the money only looks good if converted to Ringgit Malaysia. The amount in USD is not as great as it is seen.

So, what do you do with the money in Paypal? Online shopping? Or investing in gold too?

Since we can get money transferred from Paypal to our debit or credit card and Google Adsense income can be transfered thought Western Union Cash Transfer, I went to CIMB this morning in hope to get things done.

The first CIMB I went to is an ex-Southern bank and they were out of debit card application form. I was like what? No form available? Why can’t you print one? But without further delay, I asked the officers about Western Union Cash Transfer, but again, they cannot do it. Why? It’s because there are 2 types of CIMB and only those ex-Bumiputra Commerce banks which were converted to CIMB have that service. So make sure that you know which one to go to.

Of course, I went to the second CIMB. This one is a bit crowded most of the time, that’s why I try my best to avoid it. But what to do? It’s an ex-Bumiputra Commerce bank. I got the application of the debit card done, but about the Western Union Cash Transfer, the officer was very blur when I asked him about it. Seriously, are the local banks aware of things like Paypal, Google Adsense or those earnings or not? I thought I was talking to myself. Gee…

I didn’t have time for dilly telly with him so I left. Hopefully, I will read some posts later that tell me they got the money!

So, after Paypal, we have another good news from Google Adsense now! I got to know about this from Make$ Money$ and from there, I hopped over to Kongtechnology.com to get a better idea how this can work out for us. I’m still waiting for my first check, but now I guess it will be more convenient to get the money transfered directly to my CIMB account. I have just changed my payment details from check to Western Union Quick Cash transfer. So things are getting easier for me!

Again, I have to get down to the bank to get the debit card, and then I will try my luck on Paypal. Isn’t this exciting? Malaysians can get money easier now. Woo hoo!

Steven left a comment at my post stating he had confirmed about the possibility of withdrawing money from Paypal in Malaysia. I checked from my Paypal account (remember, go to www.paypal.com all the time, ok?) and this is what I have found:

You can withdraw funds from your PayPal account to any credit, debit, or prepaid card with a Visa or MasterCard logo.

 Funds Availability
PayPal completes this transfer in days, but your card issuer’s policies may affect the processing time.

 Withdrawal Limits
There is a minimum and maximum amount that you can withdraw to your card. To see the minimum withdrawal amount, click Fees at the bottom of any page. To see the maximum withdrawal amount, click View Limits on the Account Overview page.

Note: If you are withdrawing to a prepaid card, the amount that you can withdraw might be different from your PayPal account withdrawal limit. For more information, contact your card issuer.

 Fees
PayPal charges a fee for withdrawals to your card. Currency conversion fees may also apply. If the information in your withdrawal request is incomplete or incorrect, PayPal will charge a return fee. For more information, click Fees at the bottom of any page.

So, I think I better make a trip to my bank and get a credit or debit card from them. Gee…I wonder if I can get a platinum card. LOL!

If I can take the money out directly, that means I can save up a lot on the transaction. Thus, more money will be coming into my bank account and my dream Maui Vacations will not be too far away. You underestimate those processing fees, they might turn into a bigger amount if you are making as much as I do. If the money issued is settled, I will check out those Hawaiian Beach Rentals and make my reservation!

To all those nice places listed in Hawaii travel blog, here I come! I just can’t wait to hit my budget for Hawaii.

If you think that you have received a fraudulent email (or fake website), please forward the email (or URL address) to spoof@paypal.com and then delete the email from your mailbox. Never click any links or attachments in a suspicious email.

I sent a report to the customer service but I didn’t forward the fraud to the email stated above. I was rushing to go out at that time. Besides, my itchy fingers had deleted the email.

Anyway, just be more careful with emails from paypal. If I updated my details just now, I will be in deep sh*t now. BTW, check out the security tips of your paypal account. Just in case you receive any fraud emails like me.

BTW, I changed my password too. Too kiasi.
